A review site is only worth anything if it is predictable what stays up and what does not. Here is what we decide on.

Updated: 5 August 2026

What we expect from a review

Describe your own experience, of something that actually happened. Say what your dealing with them was, and when.

At least 40 characters. One word is not a review and helps nobody.

Do not include a third party’s name, address, phone number or other identifying details.

What we remove

Reviews of transactions that did not happen, where that is demonstrable or strongly indicated.

Abusive, hateful or threatening content, and third-party personal data.

Advertising, spam, and reviews written by a competitor in their own interest.

Statements of fact the subject credibly demonstrates to be untrue.

What we do not remove

A negative review, on its own. Dissatisfaction is experience too, and it is exactly why this site exists.

Reporting does not hide a review. It queues it for a moderator; until then the review stays exactly where it was.

How it works

Anyone can report a review with the button next to it, giving a reason.

Reports are worked in the order they arrive. The reporter does not get a detailed rationale, but the effect of the decision is publicly visible.

The person reviewed can reply publicly to every review, whether or not they reported it.

If you are the one being reviewed

Reply in public first. A matter-of-fact reply often tells the reader more than the review did.

If it contains a false statement of fact, report it and say what is untrue. If you have evidence, say so.

You cannot edit or delete a review yourself, and we will not make that possible.
